You are someone who is responsible for developing strategy and implementing initiatives for the benefit of the people you serve. You have a current way of working that is creating value and you sense that there is something more you can do. What you are not sure about (and would be interested in exploring) is what “more” could look like in practice.
I work with you to design and facilitate processes that reveal what “more” can look like for you in your situation. The services provided are ways we can work together at different levels. The work integrates practices from system thinking, social innovation, community engagement, and the creative process of theatre.
Strategy Development and Initiative Design
What would it look like to move beyond our current practices in responding to the challenges we face?
To answer this question we need to engage in a systemic and creative process to develop a portfolio of solutions ready for implementation. The process would bring together the necessary participants, clarify the challenge, articulate the current context, identify the long-term purpose and direction of the project, establish the project time frame, set the scope, and then release people to explore and create.
All of the above will be done as an iterative process, making draft choices and revising as the work moves forward.
Implementation Design
Working from the initiatives created, we work together to create the actions that will move these ideas into practice. This will include identifying who now needs to be included, designing first experiments, and developing the process for embedding the work into everyday practice.
Process Coaching
We work alongside your team as they implement the initiative. We focus on the overall process while providing feedback for real-time course correction to those delivering the project. The coaching keeps the team asking themselves: Who needs to be included in the process? What is the alignment with the project purpose and direction? Are we meeting the challenge identified?
Capacity Building and Training
We can build the facilitative, creative, and design capacities of your team for greater impact on the project and support the sustainability of creative approaches in the long term. Beyond the initial project, your group will benefit from applying these new skills in other areas of their work.
Workshop Design and Facilitation
We can support your team in the design and delivery of workshops and meetings. Bringing years of experience in workshop design and participant engagement, we help you deliver experiential sessions that meet the purpose and objectives of your gatherings.
